The Telescope Optical Units are under responsibility of Italy, with contribution from Switzerland and Sweden. Italy is in charge for all the optical components and for the integration and testing of a EM-TOU model, two QM-TOU models, and the 26 Flight Models (FM) (plus spares). Switzerland will provide the mechanical structures for all the TOUs, and has the responsibility of the STM of the module TOU+FPA and of the MTD models. Sweden is in charge for the production of the blue and red filters of the F-TOUs.
