Role: Camera System MAIV engineer

Claudio Arena graduated from UCL in 2016 with a degree in Astrophysics. 

He then completed a PhD in Astronomical Instrumentation, where he focused on the design of a novel FGS mechanism based on piezoelectric actuators, for use in space payloads. He also focused on exoplanet atmosphere characterization missions.

Since January 2022 he is part of the PLATO Consortium, assisting the MAIV activities for the mission.
