Role: Optical Engineer

Lionel Clermont (M.Sc Physics, ULg & SupOptique, M.Sc Management, HEC-ULg) is an optical engineer in the optics division of the Space Center of Liège (CSL). His specialisation is optical design of space instruments, optical simulations and design of optical test methodologies. His recent projects include the Sentinel-4/UVN-CAA design, the METOP-SG/3MI calibration and stray-light correction algorithm, as well as the Proba-Evo stray-light model as project manager. Lionel is performing definition and optical simulations for the PLATO alignment algorithm.
