Role: ICU assembly, integration and test verification (AIT/AIV) engineer
Marina Vela Nunez is a Researcher at National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF), OAA – Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory, Florence, Itay. She graduated in Computer System Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Durango, Durango, Mexico. She got her master degree in Engineering in Intelligent Interaction Technologies (Mobile Robotics), awarded by Japanese Government Scholarship at University Of Tsukuba, Tsukuba, Japan. And her PhD on Perceptual Robotics at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, Italy.
She has been previously involved on the SKA project specifically at “SKA-CSP software prototype development” at INAF-OAA. She also collaborated at the group of IA2 (Italian center for Astronomical Archive) on the “support SW development for archiving of astronomical data preparatory to the realization of a SKA RC” at INAF-OATs- Observatory Astronomical of Trieste, Trieste, Italy.
Her activities are related to PLATO P/L ICU assembly, integration and test verification (AIT/AIV) engineering. The verification and test activities are done by compiling scripts in TCL to be run on the SIS (Spacecraft Interface Simulator).
